Where the wind hums and the daisies giggle, there lies a tiny burrow where the foragers hide. If you have the right eye, you may yet find it. In a nook or in a cranny, maybe in the back of your mind. Follow the trail of lost socks, orphaned buttons, and unwanted bottles. Such forgotten memories may lead you there. Perhaps you’ve even seen a forager, you just didn’t know they were there. And if you do find yourself at the doorstep of the tiny hoarders, oh how lucky you are. For the foragers herd the lost and if you are kind, they may help you be found.
Inspired by the films "Epic" and "Arrietty," this project began with the idea of lost and forgotten things. These foragers collect the small objects humans leave behind, gathering pieces of a world much larger than themselves. But what if, one day, a person became one of those forgotten things?
